In response to requests from hospitals across the state, WSHA is launching the Hospital CMO Roundtable, a new forum for Chief Medical Officers from around the state. The inaugural Hospital CMO Roundtable will take place on Sept. 28, 2026.
This members-driven initiative provides space for CMOs to connect and collaborate on today’s complex healthcare challenges and opportunities. As senior physician leaders, CMOs have unique responsibilities and perspectives. The Hospital CMO Roundtable is for these leaders, offering candid discussions and networking with colleagues.
Conversations will focus on topics identified by CMOs themselves, including provider recruitment and retention, physician leadership development, quality and patient safety, and workforce sustainability. Discussions will also cover operational workflows, call coverage strategies, medical staff engagement and opportunities for collaboration.
Register to join fellow Chief Medical Officers from across Washington and help launch this new forum built by member request and designed exclusively for hospital CMOs.
Why participate?
- Connect with fellow hospital CMOs across Washington
- Share strategies and solutions with peers facing similar challenges
- Discuss emerging issues in quality, safety, workforce, and physician leadership
- Help shape future roundtable topics and priorities
- Strengthen collaboration among physician leaders statewide
We look forward to bringing together Washington’s Chief Medical Officers to build connections, share insights and advance healthcare excellence across the state. (Tina Seery)
