Snoqualmie Valley Health recently hosted an in-person leadership development workshop on The Art and Science of Constructive Disagreement. The session brought together more than 30 members of the leadership team for a day of learning, reflection, and skill-building.
We were joined by Heather Sulejman, co-founder of Disagreeing Better, who flew in from Boston to facilitate this highly interactive session. Through dynamic discussions, small-group breakouts, and hands-on exercises, participants explored practical strategies for engaging in productive disagreement, improving collaboration, and making better decisions as a team.
The workshop underscored the importance of curiosity, respect, and listening in navigating difficult conversations – skills that strengthen both leadership effectiveness and organizational culture.
