Healing in creative community: A retreat for Puget Sound oncology nurses

Oncology nurses are invited to join Puget Sound Oncology Nursing Society (PSONS) and Introspective Spaces for a morning of reflection, creativity, connection and restoration – designed by healthcare workers, for healthcare workers. Non-ONS members welcome 

• When: April 11, 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. 

• Where: Kaiser Renton Facility – Rainier Building | 2715 Naches Ave SW, Renton WA 98057 

• CEs: 3.25 CE credits 

• Capacity: 50 participants. 

What to Expect 

Guided grounding, storytelling, expressive art-making, and gentle movement, designed to make space for the untold stories that oncology nurses carry and help to:  

• Navigate Moral Distress: Reflect on personal experiences and honor the emotional landscape of oncology care. 

• Cultivate Resilience: Learn restorative techniques to support your long-term well-being. 

• Process through Creativity: Use expressive media to transform unspoken stress and grief into meaningful art. 

• Imagine the Future: Explore strategies for systemic change, addressing burnout and implicit bias with a renewed perspective.
