This is the final week for hospitals to order free naloxone education materials through the Washington State Health Care Authority’s Starts with One campaign before the order form closes Aug. 31. Patient-facing materials are available in seven languages – English, Spanish, Amharic, Chinese, Russian, Ukrainian and Vietnamese – to help hospitals reach more communities and support conversations about opioid safety and naloxone.
These resources are an excellent addition to other commonly used patient education resources and can support compliance with the 2026 Medicaid Quality Incentive Opioid Harm Prevention measure. Materials are available at no cost and will be shipped directly to your facility in September. If your hospital would like materials, submit your order now before it closes August 31.
